Customer challenge/

Malaysia's economic takeoff dates back to the 1980s. Since then, motor vehicles and road traffic flow have been mounting in its capital Kuala Lumpur, which, together with the official favorable policy for homemade auto industry, make Malaysia top Southeast Asian nations regarding the national vehicle parc. It was predicted in Malaysia's public transport plan unveiled in earlier 1980s that private vehicles in the capital increased 2.8 times in the following two decades. Thus it was imperative for the authority to revise transport policies and raise percentage of public transport, otherwise serious traffic jam would become a normality in the capital in the future. For avoidance of the preceding problem, it was proposed in the planning report to set up a downtown transport system with urban rail transit as the mainstay and buses as supplements in the capital.

Sited downtown, the project is required of creativity and flexibility in on-site construction methodology, i.e., on-site installation with guarantee on speediness, so as to minimize disturbance to streets in the hustle and bustle.

Our solution

Catering to light rail requirements including environmental friendliness, low cost, minor follow-up maintenance, etc., we develop a light rail fastening system. Featuring fair structure, convenient construction, corrosion resistance, low cost, etc., the system applies to a variety of construction methods with compatibility to miscellaneous steel rails. Facilitating gauge and height adjustment, the system ensures safe and comfortable light rail operation. Applicable to all types of rail structures, LRSA1 fasteners therein are appropriate for both top-down and bottom-up construction methods.  The system has strengths of high reliability, durability and free maintenance. Our team comprises experts in railway infrastructure. From design, installation to follow-up curing and maintenance inclusive, we are looking forward to cooperating with customers for the sake of better urban transport.

Conclusion

The Kuala Lumpur order is our first international full line order after we are designated by FSCR (Fastening Systems of Chinese Railways) as the platform for selling relevant products. In addition, negotiation on subsequent relevant orders is ongoing. By winning the order, we increase the popularity and influence of China's original and homemade fastening systems in the international community and turn over a new leaf for FSCR's go-global.

The line is renowned as the key bond that furthers connection between Kuala Lumpur and adjoining towns; by improving public transport systems in the Klang and Kuala Lumpur, it lends flexibility to other public transport lines, encourages use of public transport and vitalizes public space along tram rail lines.
