TIE

Concrete tie refers to a concrete product intended as railway tie. Concrete tie product comprises mixture of cement, sand, stone, water and additives by a certain proportion and wire or reinforcement as well as tie parts which are built into a combined model through vibratory compaction or vibratory load compaction, steam curing, wire or reinforcement loosening, tie end cutting, etc. It has advantages of timber conservation, long service life, high rail quality, low maintenance workload, low cost, etc. It is significantly superior to timber with regards to application to high-speed, heavy-load and seamless railways. By structure, it falls into integral, combined and semicircular ties; by reinforcement method, it falls into reinforced concrete and prestress reinforced concrete ties; by prestressing method, it falls into pre-tensioning, post-tensioning and continuous reinforcement ties.
